For plugging contractors
One list of open plugging bids across state programs and federal land agencies, with due dates, pre-bid meetings, well counts and the official bid link. Past awards show who won, how many wells and the price per well, so you can price your next bid against real numbers.
For Texas operators
Texas SB 1150 requires a well to be plugged or returned to production once it has been inactive 15 years and is 25 years past completion, starting September 1, 2027. Our Texas inactive-well screen lists each operator's shut-in and temporarily abandoned wells completed 25 or more years ago, with a rough plugging cost.
Where the data comes from
Every bid and award links to the agency's own posting. Postings are checked every day. Well details come from the state well records WellheadMap already carries. Nothing here is a bid document: always read the official solicitation before you bid.
