WellheadMap.com ("WellheadMap", "we") is operated by CS Digital Media, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What WellheadMap is

WellheadMap compiles oil and gas well records published by state and federal agencies and presents them in one place. We do not create the underlying records. Each page names its source agency and the date of the data.

No warranty; verify before you rely on it

Public records can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and our processing can add errors. The site and all data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Do not rely on WellheadMap alone for safety, drilling, legal, title, financial or regulatory decisions. Confirm anything important with the agency that published the record.

Accounts and plans

• You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account is for one person. Sharing a login is not allowed; team plans may be offered separately.
• Basic and Pro are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the paid period, and we do not refund partial periods except where the law requires.
• Your first Basic subscription includes 30 days of Pro features at no extra charge. Afterwards the account continues as Basic at the Basic price unless you choose to upgrade. We never charge a higher price without your action.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.
• Features may be added, changed or removed as source data and the service evolve.

Acceptable use

You may use the site and exports for your own business or personal work. You may not: copy or scrape the site in bulk by automated means; resell or republish our compiled data as a competing database; get around plan limits; interfere with the site's operation; or use the site unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Agency data

Underlying records belong to, or are published by, the agencies credited on each page, and some agencies set their own terms for reuse. You are responsible for following any agency terms that apply to your use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, CS Digital Media, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
